Véronique Marrier is head of the graphic design department at the Centre national des arts plastiques (Cnap). She is the editorial director of Graphisme en France, has contributed to the development of graphic design acquisitions, and is in charge of public commissions in this field (“Infini” and “Faune” typefaces). She has published the “Guide de la commande de design graphique” [Guide to commissioning graphic design] for commissioners, and leads educational actions to raise awareness of graphic design (colleges and elementary schools). Committed to the promotion of research, she is co-curator of “Graphisme en France 2014”, and has co-organised several colloquia and study days (“Design graphique, Les formes de l'histoire”, “Design graphique Manières de faire de la recherche”). She also directed the 90_degrés gallery in Bordeaux (1996-2000), co-founded the Alliance française des designers, worked for the International Poster and Graphic Design Festival in Chaumont (2003), and participated in the organisation of the Mois du graphisme d'Échirolles (2006).
