Forray-Carlier, Anne

biography

After studying art history at the École du Louvre, the University of Paris IV-Sorbonne and the École Pratique des Hautes Études, Anne Forray-Carlier passed the competitive examination for heritage officers. Appointed to the Musée Carnavalet, she served as a curator for nineteen years, publishing a volume devoted to the furniture of the Musée Carnavalet for Édition Faton. She is currently head curator at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs, in charge of the 17th and 18th century department.
