Perotto, Émilie

biography

Émilie Perotto works in sculpture, which she sees as the territory of sensitive and active encounters between human bodies and plastic bodies in particular spaces. She sees sculpture as a tool for exploring our relationship with industry. A graduate of ENSA Villa Arson, she holds a doctorate in Practices and Theory of Artistic and Literary Creation (2016, Aix-Marseille University/ESADMM). She has been teaching sculpture at ESAD Saint-Étienne since 2013.
